Discuss the economic impact of British Rule in India.
The following economic impacts were seen-
a. Agrarian conditions- The British introduces various revenue systems in order to gain maximum amount of revenue from the Indian agriculture system. In the process of earning maximum amount of revenue, they exploited the Indian peasants to a great extent.

d. Indentured labours- the peasants when lost their lands, were compelled to work for the British, but their condition as labours were even worse because the wage, they get was nominal.
e. Famines- Due to often failures in crop production and frequent cropping of commercial crops various parts of the country were facing the grim situation of famines and millions died every year in these famines due to starvation.
