The bioreactor shown is a Simple stirred-tank bioreactor.

A bioreactor is used to biologically convert raw materials into specific product or enzyme using microbial plant, animal or human cell by providing optimal temperature, pH and environmental conditions.


Simple stirred tank bioreactor provides an environment with constant and uniform heat and pH due to constant stirring and continuously mixes the mixture up and down so as to attain uniform culture.
