1) Histamines are organic compounds containing Nitrogen and are mainly involved in the local immune and inflammatory response. It is potent vasodilator and functions in contacting the smooth muscles of the bronchi. Antihistamines are those agents which tend to block the activity of histamines and prevent from sneezing and running nose etc.

Ex - Chloropheniramine Maleate is used as an antihistamine.


2) Antibiotics are those compounds which are used to treat infections being less/no toxic for the usage. Out of the given options, Chloramphenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, therefore, it used to treat fever, dysentery and typhoid.


3) The use of aspartame is limited to cold food and drink because this compound becomes unstable at high temperature. Aspartame is used an artificial sweetner agent and used as a sugar substitute. At higher temperature, aspartame breaks in to phenylalanine which is harmful for the consumption. Therefore, it is used only in cold drinks.
