Hydrolysed sucrose is called invert sugar since its rotation is inverted. Sucrose is made of D-glucose and D-fructose making sucrose dextrorotatory. But after hydrolysis sucrose gives D-glucose and L-fructose such that the laevorotation is more thereby bringing about an inversion in rotation hence called invert sugar.

(ii) Certain organic compounds required in small amounts in our diet(as most of them cannot be synthesized in our body)to perform specific biological functions for health of an organism are called vitamins.

(iii) A nucleoside is an organic compound made of purine or pyrimidine base combined with ribose or deoxyribose sugar. It forms a part of RNA and DNA.
