Ionization isomerism is exhibited by coordination compounds bonded with two or more different types of ligands. When these ligands change place between outside and inside the coordination spheres. In the above complex we can observe that both have the same formula but differ in the ions produced on ionisation, due to change in their position inside the coordination sphere or outside.
