What are biocatalysts? Give an example.

Catalyst is a substance used to speed up the rate of reaction. Bio catalyst is a natural substance (either in an organism or in a reaction unit by manual addition) used to speed up the reaction. Eg., enzymes like pepsin, trypsin, amylase, protease etc., in our body are best examples as they catalyse a number of reactions.
