Complete the following equation:



Potassium permanganate is a strong oxidising agent. Manganese gets reduced to +2 oxidation state from +7 by oxidising sulphur to +6 from +4 oxidation state.



When acid is added to chromate solution it gets converted to dichromate. There is no change in oxidation state.
