Which parts of your hand are most sensitive to touch?

The parts of the skin that are most sensitive, like the fingertips, have more receptor cells in them than other, less sensitive areas. Our brain has a 'sensory map', with more space devoted to some sensitive areas of your body than others. The fingertip cause is the point where all the nerves end and are considered to be one of the most sensitive portions of the body. Then goes the back of the hand and finally the forearm.
