Explain the following terms:

Motor nerve .....................

A motor nerve is a nerve that carries command information out of the central nervous system and toward effectors (muscles or glands) that will execute the commands. It is an enclosed, cable-like bundle of efferent nerve fibers (the axons of motor neurons) in the peripheral nervous system.
