(a) The two disadvantages of using fossil fuels are as follows:

(i)Fossil fuels are non-renewable and once they finished can’t be renewed for thousands of years.

(ii) Use of fossil fuels is harmful for the environment. When the fossil fuels are burnt, they release various elements such as Carbon, Nitrogen and Sulphur which results in acid rain, air pollution and soil pollution also.

(b) (i) The two Examples of renewable sources of energy are:

Wind Energy and Oceanic Energy

(ii) The two examples of Non-renewable source of energy are:

Coal, Petrol, Diesel
