Disadvantages of fossil fuels:

1. These are non-renewable sources of energy and are limited in amount

2. Burning of fossil fuels resulted in Air pollution.

3. The burning of fossil fuels causes release of acidic oxides like Carbon, Nitrogen and Sulphur which causes Acid rain.

4. The acid rain has severe impact on soil and water resources.

5. Due to Air pollution by burning of fossil fuels has resulted in change in climatic conditions.

6. Global warming and Greenhouse effect are some of the consequences of using of fossil fuels.

7. When they burn, they produce lot of ash behind.
