An electrostatic precipitator in a thermal power plant is not able to generate high voltage of several thousands. Write the ecological implication because of it.

An electrostatic precipitator is a device that filters and removes fine particles such as dust and smoke from a gas. It works using the force of an induced electrostatic charge. In a thermal power plant it does not generates a high voltage, hence an electrostatic precipitator does not remove dust particles and some present in the exhaust of thermal power plants. This cause air pollution as dust particles released into the air.
