Maxwell sat in the backseat of a cab and placed the box on his lap. Somehow, he managed to catch the flight on time. The air hostess was cooperative enough and permitted the narrator to carry the otter. As soon as he opened the box, the otter fled out of it and disappeared in the plane which petrified the onboard passengers. However, the air hostess came to his rescue and helped him in finding the otter. The most surprising event that the narrator had to face was in London, where the people used to make wild guesses to recognize the animal.
