Bholi apprehended going to school. She had always been a simpleton like a cow and thought that she would be sold like a cow. She was quite nervous. Seeing his daughter’s troubled state of mind, the father ordered his wife to dress her up properly and rub her hair with oil. Bholi was also put into new clothes and looked decent. All these preparations boosted her confidence and made her feel that she was going to have a better place than her home. Previously, Bholi was mocked at by others for stammering. But with the aid and support of her teacher, she gained confidence in herself. All these helped her in her initial stages.
