Describe any three areas of tension which are yet to be solved to retain unity in diversity in India.

The three areas of tension are:

1. Pakistan: There is one strand of separatists who want a separate Kashmiri nation, independent of India and Pakistan, some demand to merge Kashmir and Pakistan. This has led to insurgency in the region and the infiltration of terrorism.


2. Secessionists demand of North East: This demand arose in Tripura and Manipur which compromised the state of Assam. This majorly arose when the non-assumes political leaders felt that the assumes was forcibly imposed upon them.


3. There are many regions which demand for separate state on the basis of language and culture. Eg: Gorkhaland
