Given: mean = 54.6


mode = 54


we know


(mean – mode) = 3 × (mean – median)


⇒ (54.6 – 54) = 3 × (54.6 – median)


⇒ 0.6 = 3 × 54.6 – 3 × median


⇒ 0.6 = 163.8 – 3 × median


⇒ 3 × median = 163.8 – 0.6


⇒ median =


∴ median = 54.4
