Find the errors and correct the following mathematical sentences

x(3x + 2) = 3x2 + 2

If LHS is


x(3x + 2)


Then RHS would be


⇒ x(3x + 2)


= 3 × x × x – 2 × x


= 3x2 – 2x


The error is 2x instead of 2


Hence x(3x + 2) = 3x2 + 2x
