In scientific notation,


1000 = (1.0×103) and 20 = (2.0×101)6


∴(1000)2×(20)6 = (1.0×103)2×(2.0×101)6


= (1.0)2×(103)2×(2.0)6×(101)6


= 1×106×64×106


= 64×1012


= 6.4×101×1012


= 6.4×1013


∴ (1000)2 x (20)6 in scientific notation is 6.4×1013
