5x + y = 13


5x + 5y = 12

5x + y = 13 y = 13 – 5x ... equation (i)


Equation (i) will be plotted as line AB.


5x + 5y = 12 y = ... equation (ii)



Equation (ii) will be plotted as line CD.



Here, we can see in the graph that lines AB and CD are intersecting at point P(2.65,-0.25).Hence it is solvable.


Solution of equations is x=2.65 and y=-0.25.
