If the total surface area of the cube is 96cm2. Then find its volume.

Given, surface area of cube = 96 ..(i)


Formula surface area of the cube = 6a2 ..(ii)


where a = edge of cube


Equating equation (i) and (ii)


⇒ 6a2 = 96


⇒ a2 = 16


⇒ a = 4


The volume of a cube = a3


= 43


= 64


So, volume of cube is 64cm3
