Identify the factors that contributed to Pakistan‟s failure in building a stable democracy?

OR

Briefly, explain two positive and two negative developments in Indo-Bangladesh relations.

The factors that contributed to Pakistan‟s failure in building a stable democracy are :

The social dominance of the military power in Pakistan has been encouraged involuntarily and this is the reason why the elected parties are often overthrown.

There is a lack of support to Pakistan from the international organizations for the democratic rule.

The US and other countries have supported the military set up, due to their own interests. The global fear against Islam and the assumption that Pakistan has a nuclear weapon which can be used for mass destruction also put the stability in question.

Certain groups were in favour of a military army set up. They felt that the political parties and the democracy of Pakistan is flawed. Moreover, with the Indo Pak conflicts, it was felt that the army must be in power.

OR
