Analyze the thesis propounded by E.V. Ramaswami Naicker popularly known as Periyar.

EV Ramaswamy Naicker changed his name to Dravidar Kazhagam, and founded the DMK party in Tamil Nadu. His thesis focused on the discrimination of the non-Brahmin castes.

He said that Brahmins were opened to accepting donations from non-Brahmins, but would not treat them equally in social and religious affairs. This was seen as unjust and hypocritical.

Consequently, he called for the eradication of caste and worked towards a society where citizens were rational and had high self-respect.
