Explain any two arguments given by the advocates of economic globalization.

The advocates of economic globalization support the phenomenon on the following grounds:


a) Globalization leads to economic well-being. Greater trade allows citizens to explore new markets and hence, provides greater choice and better lifestyles. It also helps to explore opportunities in other countries and strengthen international relations.


b) Globalization is inevitable. Proponents of the system argue that globalization is the way forward, as the western capitalist system has proven to be more successful than the other alternatives. It improves trust between nations and helps them to advance through mutual support.
