Water is precious: use it wisely

According to reports, in just a few years, several cities in India will be on the brink of famines and droughts and people will have to suffer fatally because of the issue of depletion of water. And yet, there are several places in the country where people treat water as a limitless free resource that can be wasted without even thinking twice.

Water is in fact the most precious resource we have today for it is a determinant of life and death. Clean drinking water is something many people around the world are deprived of, despite ours being a Blue Planet. The need of the hour is to use this resource wisely.

We waste water at our homes in day-to-day activities. We waste water in weddings, in schools and colleges and even on roadsides. We must use water judiciously instead and even take measures to conserve water. There can be several little steps one can take on an individual basis to do this. Perhaps our little contributions can help in recovering from this grave situation.
