Two Directive Principles of State Policy to promote international peace and security are:

a. To promote international peace and security: To abide by the laws and treaties to avoid any unrest among the states and in turn secure international peace and security.

b. Encourage settlement of international disputes by arbitration: Often the conflicting nations are unable to settle disputes among themselves. So, it is the Directive Principles of State Policy that allow the indulgence of an arbitrator to settle such disputes.
