Solve each of the following systems of equations by using the method of cross multiplication:

6x – 5y – 16 = 0, 7x – 13y + 10 = 0.

We have,

6x – 5y – 16 = 0 …(i)


7x – 13y + 10 = 0 …(ii)


From equation (i), we get a1 = 6, b1 = - 5 and c1 = - 16


And from equation (ii), we get a2 = 7, b2 = - 13 and c2 = 10


Using cross multiplication,
