If the total surface area of a solid hemisphere is 462 cm2, find its volume. [Take π = 22/7

The surface area of solid hemisphere is given by,

A = 2πr2 + πr2


Given, A = 462 cm2


⇒ 2πr2 + πr2 = 462


⇒ r2 =


⸫ r = √49 = 7 cm


⸫ Volume of hemisphere =
