Construct a triangle with sides 5 cm, 5.5 cm and 6.5 cm. Now construct another triangle, whose sides are 3/5 times the corresponding sides of the given triangle.


Construction:


1) Construct a triangle ABC using the measurements of three sides.


2) Draw a ray AX making an acute angle with AB.


3) Mark 5 points on AX and join the fifth point to B.


4) Draw a line A3B’ parallel to A5B from A3.


5) Draw a line C'B' parallel to CB.


6) ΔA'BC' is the required triangle.
