A card is drawn at random from a well shuffled a pack of 52 playing cards. Find the probability that the drawn card is neither a king nor a queen.

Total no. of king and queen in a pack of 52 cards = 4+4 = 8

Let P be the probability that the drawn card is neither a king nor a queen.

∴ P (neither a king nor a queen)

= 1- P (draw a king or queen card)

= 1- (8/52)

= (44/52)

= 11/13
