Show that the points (-2, 3), (8, 3) and (6, 7) are the vertices of a right triangle.

Length of Side AB is given by-


=√100


= 10 units


Length of Side BC is given by-


=√(4+16)


=√20


= 2√5 units


Length of Side AC is given by-


=√(64+16)


=√80


= 4√5 units


Clearly, AC2+BC2 = AB2


∴ Points A, B, C are the vertices of a right triangle.
