In the figure, POQ is a line, ∠ POR = 4x and ∠ QOR = 2x. Find the value of x.
                             

∠ POR + ∠ QOR  = 180° (Linear pair axiom) But ∠ POR = 4x and ∠ QOR = 2x ∴ 4x+2x = 180°      ⇒ 6x = 180°        Þ x = 30° ∴ The value of x = 30° .
