In figure ∠1 = 110° and ∠8 = 60°. Is m || n.

         ∠1 = ∠3 …. (Vertically opposite angles)
Since ∠1 = 110°
    ⇒ ∠3 = 110°
Again ∠8 = ∠6 …. (Vertically opposite angles) 
and ∠8 = 60° …. (given)
    ⇒ ∠6 = 60°
Now ∠3 + ∠6 = 110° + 60° = 170° ≠ 180°
... m is not parallel to n
