Q10 of 143 Page 6

If tan A = 3/4 and A + B = 90°, then what is the value of cot B ?

Given,

tan A = 3/4 and

A + b = 90°

So we have,

A = 90° - B

So,

tan A = tan (90° - B) = 3/4

∵ cot B = tan A

Therefore,

cot B = 3/4
