(–3, 2) and (2, 0)


x1 = –3 and x2 = 2


y1 = 2 and y2 = 0


⇒ D = √ ((2 – (–3)2 + (0 – 2)2)


⇒ D = √ ((2 + 3)2 + (0 – 2)2)


⇒ D = √ ((5)2 + (–2)2)


⇒ D = √ (25 + 4)


⇒ D = √ 29
