x1 = 5 and x2 = 0


y1 = 7 and y2 = 0


⇒ D = √ ((0 – 5)2 + (0 – 7)2)


⇒ D = √ ((–5)2 + (–7)2)


⇒ D = √ (25 + 49)


⇒ D = √ 74
