Find the area of the shaded portion in question 92.

We know that, area of a circle = ∏r²

Area of given circle = ∏ × (7)² = × 7 × 7 = 154 cm²

Shaded area = Area of circle – Area of square = 154 cm² - 98 cm² = 56 cm²

∴ Shaded area = 56 cm²
