Find the area of the shaded portion in question 92.

We know that, area of a circle = ∏r2


Area of given circle = ∏ × (7)2 = × 7 × 7 = 154 cm2


Shaded area = Area of circle – Area of square = 154 cm2 - 98 cm2 = 56 cm2


∴ Shaded area = 56 cm2
