How much distance, in metres, a wheel of 25 cm radius will cover if it rotates 350 times?

A wheel covers a distance equal to its circumference in one rotation.


Radius of wheel = 25 cm= m =


So, distance covered in one rotation = 2∏r = 2 × = m


Hence, distance covered in 350 rotations = × 350 = 550 m
