If in ΔABC DE || BC and AD = 6 cm, DB = 9 cm and AE = 8 cm, then find AC.

Given,


AD = 6 cm


DB = 9 cm


AE = 8 cm



In ΔADE & ΔABC,


DE||BC



Putting the values of AD,DB,AE,




AC = AE + EC


⇒ AC = 8 + 12 = 20 cm
