How do different physiographic regions in India complement each other?

India has all different features in one country which are opposite to each other.

i. India has the Thar Desert which is an arid and dry region whereas it also has the Western Ghats which experiences high rainfall and high levels of humidity.


ii. India has northern plains which consist of highly fertile alluvial soil whereas it has sandy soil which is suitable for cultivation.
