Name the two famous valleys located in Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh lies in the Lesser Himalayas range. It is home to many beautiful valleys. Two of its famous valleys are:

i. Kullu Valley: It is beautiful valley formed by the Beas River between Mandi and Larji. Rohtang Pass is the end of this valley. This valley is famous for scenic beauty, pine and deodar trees, gorges and mountain cliffs.

ii. Kangra Valley: It is located between the Dhauladhar range in the North and the Shivalik hills in the South. It is a low altitude and dun type valley. The important towns of this valley are Baijnath, Palampur, Kangra and Dharamshala.
