Explain the sociological sense of minority.

The sociological sense of minority means the sense of collectiveness and togetherness of the people belonging to the minority community. They have a sense of collective belonging.


This can be said as a disadvantage because the experience of being subjected to prejudice and discrimination generally heightens the feelings of intra-group loyalty and interests.
