In today’s modern world, the caste system has weakened in one sphere but still remains stronger in another.

a. In a fast-growing economy like today, job opportunities are created and given to all classes of people irrespective of their caste, creed, colour and region. Ever growing Multi National Companies are the major for this. Hence, the economic upliftment of the entire society is made possible.

b. On the other hand, during elections, votes are cast on the basis of caste also, thus making caste as a central sphere of the politicians.

c. Caste plays a major role in a society dominated by culture and traditions.

But, it can be said that the caste system and discrimination based on caste are gradually disappearing from society.
