How do human beings pollute the water through industrial and agricultural activities ? Explain.

Water is an important natural resource for both humans and animals. But a large number of industrial, agricultural and domestic activities of human beings have led to water pollution. Many industries in urban areas have dumped their waste materials in rivers, oceans and other water bodies. This has an adverse effect on the water bodies and the marine life. Industries also, throw chemicals and other materials which changes the temperature of the water bodies, which affects marine life. In urban areas, people often dump their waste in the sewage, which sometimes blocks the sewage system. The domestic waste(solid and liquid) and agricultural waste(fertilizers and insecticides) are carried by the river to the ocean. Thus, increasing the number of pollutants found in the oceans and river. In this way, humans pollute the water through agricultural and industrial activities.
