In Asian countries the sex ratio of males remain dominated in urban areas while in rural areas its more female dominated. In urban areas sex ratio of males are more because of more male migration for better job opportunities, education and marriage. And the sex ratio for females in urban areas is low because of lack of jobs opportunities, shortage of housing and high cost of living, which discourages females to migrate. Whereas, the sex ratio of females is more in rural areas, especially in India as agriculture is female-dominated.
