Given in isosceles ΔABC, AC = BC and AB2 = 2AC2



In isosceles ΔABC,


AC = BC, so ∠B = ∠A [Equal sides have equal angles opposite to them]


⇒ AB2 = 2AC2


⇒ AB2 = AC2 + AC2


⇒ AB2 = AC2 + BC2


∴ ΔABC is right angle triangle with ∠C = 90°
