Here, First term = a = 3/4

Common difference = d = 5/4 - 3/4 = 2/4

To find = 9^th term, ∴ n = 9

Using the formula for finding n^th term of an A.P.,

a_n = a + (n - 1) × d

∴ a_n = (3/4) + (9 - 1) × (2/4)

⇒ a_n = 3/4 + 8 × (2/4) = 3/4 + 16/4 = 19/4

∴ 9^th term of the given AP is 19/4.
