Find the zeroes of the given polynomials.

p(x)=x4 - 16

p(x) = 0

⇒ x4 – 16 = 0


⇒ (x2 – 4)(x2 + 4)= 0


⇒ (x + 2)(x – 2)(x2 + 4)= 0


⇒ x = -2, x = 2 and x2 = 4


⇒ x = -2, x = 2 and x = ±2


Hence, x=2 and x=-2 are the zeroes of the polynomial.
