Find the quadratic polynomial, for the zeroes given in each case.

Let the quadratic polynomial be ax2 + bx + c

And, its zeroes be α and β


α = 2


β = -1








If a = 1,



⇒ b = -1



⇒ c = -2


Hence, the polynomial is x2 – x – 2
