‘Democracy keeps a diverse country like India together'. How?

Democracy is established in a country when people of that nation is treated equally, and they elect their leader by casting a vote. Different castes

In India, people belong to different languages, practice a different religion and have different preferences. Here no community is treated stronger than the other.

The community clash is resolved by treating everyone equal; no community is declared winner or loser. Different groups live with each other peacefully.

This could be only possible through democracy because here all regions and communities are treated equally, no one could be discriminated on the basis of caste, creed or religion.
