How democracy provide a method to deal with differences and conflicts?

Democracy is established in a country when people of that nation are treated equally, and they elect their leader by casting a vote.

In India, people belong to different languages, practices different religion and have different preferences. Here no community is treated stronger than the other.


The community clash is resolved by treating everyone equal; no community is declared winner or loser. Different groups live with each other peacefully.


This could be only possible through democracy because here all regions and communities are treated equally, no one could be discriminated on the basis of caste, creed or religion.
